ZyXEL P-2302HWL-P1 allows users to enjoy the low cost of phone calls through the Internet and the convenience of wireless mobility in the network. With integrated security and management features, ZyXEL P-2302HWL-P1 is a low-cast, all-in-one solution for home and small office users.
ZyXEL P-2302HWL-P1 comes with a WAN port for high speed Internet connection and a built-in four-port switch that allows users to connect up to four network devices. Users can also easily set up a wireless network using the embedded 802.11g AP. Coupled with the high-gain antenna, ZyXEL P-2302HWL-P1 boasts a wide coverage area. For flexibility, user can connect two telephone sets to the two FXS phone ports on the P-2302HWL-P1. By providing POTS lifeline relay feature on one FXS phone port, users can still place regular phone calls during a power outage.
ZyXEL P-2302HWL-P1 allows users to greatly reduce their phone bills through VoIP and POTS convergence. When a long distance call is placed through the P-2302HWL-P1, the call is sent through the Internet for the long haul and the local POTS is used to send the calls to the end points. Thus users can enjoy quality long distances calls at the cost of local calls.
The P-2302HWL-P1 complies with the IEEE 802.11g wireless standard that allows data rates of up to 54Mbps. The P-2302HWL-P1 is also interpretable with 802.11b networks at a transmission rate of up to 11Mbps. In addition, its advanced wireless security features protect wireless communication.
The ICSA certified ZyNOS operating system gives state-of-the-art firewall protection based on Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) technology and to prevent Denial of Services (DoS) attacks. Thus the P-2302HWL-P1 provides the first line of defense against hackers, network intruders, and other malicious threats.
